VW / Audi Action Day
Firstly our thanks go to the VW guys for doing most of the work in putting this great day together.
The weather let us down a bit but those who attended had a great day. The S4, Guy's new A3 turbo quattro,
A4 quattro avant, 2 WR UR quattros, R32 Golf, Maya's Modern turbo beetle and a VR6 Golf represented Club Audi.
Wind and a cold light rain made it a bit uncomfortable, but our club tent stayed up and looked the part.

An amazing variety of VW's kept us all interested, from Kombies to Beetles to Campers and Buggies, they had the lot.
My personal favorite was the 60's camper, original right down to the ground.
The band did a great job once again to keep us entertained and there was a constant drift of people looking at our cars.
A number of application forms were handed out to prospective members so we are looking forward to a few new faces.
Highlight of the day was Maya taking out the best Modern Beetle again. Worth the trip from Byron Bay.
We decided to hold our club Concours over for the All German Day on the 29th of October, to be held at
Hawthorne Park, in Hawthorne Rd. Hawthorne.
This year is only the third event of this type to be held in Brisbane and a lot of effort has gone into the organizing.
The council has installed a proper driveway for easy access for our cars and local businesses are donating
tents for us to use on the day.
Food and drinks are well catered for and some entertainment for children.
